Started young, built on hard work, and still climbing ladders every day it is not snowing sideways.
The name Makan comes from two names put together: Maksym and a buddy he started with. At 16, they were washing windows around the city. Two years later, Maksym wanted more than clean glass, so he went into roofing.
He started Makan Roofing at 18, on his own this time, but kept the name because it had a good ring to it. Almost three years and more than 120 roofs later, the company is still going strong, with a full crew and jobs ranging from single-family homes to full commercial tear-offs.
No inherited company. No head office in another province. Just a young crew that shows up, works hard, and stands behind what they build.
Anyone can make a roof look good from the driveway. What matters is what happened before the shingles went on: whether the deck was actually inspected, whether soft plywood got replaced or just covered up, whether the underlayment went down right.
That is why every Makan job gets inspections during the build and again after completion. It is more work for us and a better roof for you. That is the trade we are happy to make.
Our crews work in hard hats and harnesses, keep the site organized, and leave your yard clean. The magnet sweep for nails happens before we do.
Regina roofs deal with hail, high winds, and freeze-thaw cycles that pull at every shingle edge and flashing line. Roofing here is not the same as roofing somewhere mild, and a local crew that works these conditions every week knows where roofs in this city actually fail.
You will see our trucks around town with the number on the side: (306) 527-0968. If you spot the crew on a job near you, come say hi and grab a quote while we are in the neighbourhood.
Free quotes across Regina. Straight answers, real photos of the work, and a clean yard when we leave.
